Vision & Mission
Inspired by the benign and noble teachings of Lord Jesus Christ who declared of himself “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life” (Jn 14:6) and guided by the moral and educational philosophy of St John Bosco, Don Bosco College of Teacher Education (DBCTE) envisions generations of in-service and pre-service teachers qualified and motivated to impart quality education at the secondary and higher secondary levels. Don Bosco’s principles of education - based on Reason, Religion and Kindness - will guide the training programme. There is no better contribution to education than the effective training and motivation of teachers.
